    Smile Hi

Hi Everyone my name is Trish, I have been trying to research my Paternal side of the family name of Mayell for some time now and have come to many dead ends, I should have asked questions when I was younger and before most of the right generation of family died so am hoping I might be able to get some help here as a last resort.

    Welcome to the forum

I think we all wish that we were born with a questionnaire attached to us, who, what, when, where and why. It would be so useful now.

Take a look around and ask your questions on one of the boards and we will do our best to help you find some answers.

    Good Luck and have fun.

Hi Trish, I am also researching the name of Mayell. Perhaps we will be able to assist each other. My family came from Bath, Somerset. Most of them were stone masons. I descend from Francis Mayell and Elizabeth Pearce. Their son, William Henry Mayell is my gr grandfather. He married Mary Ann Brummell. Their son, Samuel Mayell, is my grandfather. He and his family migrated to Australia in 1912. I have information about other descendents of Francis Mayell. Let me know if I can help you. Best wishes, Judymay.

Hi Judymay many thanks for your message,I do wish your family of Mayells could be of use to mine but my Mayells were born St Pancras London and apart from my Grandfather stayed around the London area. Good luck in your research.
    Regards
    Trish

Hi Trish, Thanks for your reply. What a shame it is not the same family. I hope you have some success in your search. Best wishes, Judymay.
