I subscribed to Origins.net to check one thing, but then realised that the site had nothing else I was interested in: I sent an email two days ago to ask them to unsubscribe me, and I'm a little concerned they haven't acknowledged it. Am I right to be concerned or am I overreacting?

Tanya, you should have received a confirmation email. In any event remove any cc account info that they can charge to. And unsubscribe again.

When you log in go to your account info or profile info. It's been a long time so not quite remembering but you should be able to delete any payment details you made.

I just sent an email to "support AT origins DOT net", in addition to the ones to "help AT origins DOT net". I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

If it's anything like the account we have with them, payment details are processed by WorldPay on a recurring authority, so any change of card details etc has to be done there rather than at Origins.
