Joseph had a son called John Charles Gibb who founded the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle Upon Tyne I believe that Johns sister Emma Catherine Davey Gibb was my great great grandmother she married a railway station master called william reaveley. A bit of controversy was caused I am led to believe.

It was lovely to put a face to a name. I have since found other members on his mothers side of family, some ended up in workhouse, strange when there are relations who are very well off. I suppose anyone could fall on hard times.
Thank you
