I am looking for all these names in and around Crowland - Peterborough and other close places.

For the purpose of this query.

Matthias Dodes Stimson Married Sarah Sanby 3rd August 1845 -

Matthias was born out of wedlock as Stimson, and when it suited him e.g. on a Census, he used his father's names, Dodes.

He had Seven Children that I can find in Chruch Records. Four survived and married.

The one I am searching for is Elizabeth Louisa Dodes Stimson born 1855 Peterborough Q 1 v, 3b p. 230. She Married Jerry Kaye on 25 Dec. 1875 and had 4 sons, John, James, Henry and Joseph. The last born was Joseph in 1888.

On the 1911 Census, I found that Jerry Kaye had remarried to Ruth Ann Pickles in 1903
and that at that time, 2 of the grown sons, were living in this household, this also confirmed I had the right Jerry Kaye. ( He was born Jerry Kaye, but could be abbrev. of Jerimiah).

Here is the problem. When Matthias Dodes Stimson died on 6 Sept 1894, certificate obtained, His daughter, Elizabeth Lyon was in attendance.

He only had one daughter Elizabeth, so this is her. I cannot find where/when she became a Lyon, nor why, and I only have the 1911 Census to tell me that Jerry Kaye and Ann Pickles had been married 8 years. ( if they were married - can't find that either)

I have found no Kaye/Pickles marriage, No Elizabeth Kaye death - now marriage for Elizabeth Kaye nee Stimson to Lyon.

I am stuck - When did Elizabeth Kaye, nee Stimson, become Elizabeth Lyon and does anyone know when she died?

The family name can be written STIMPSON with a P, but What I have found for Elizabeth is STIMSON.
