London, Middlesex & Surrey pre 1837 coverage

Two new Research Aids detailing the online coverage of baptisms and marriages in London and Middlesex parishes before 1837 can be downloaded free from the West Surrey Family History Society publications page. Scroll down to RA 49 & 50.

Further to the above, West Surrey FHS have now updated their list of online London/Middlesex baptism registers to show the coverage offered by Ancestry.

The updated listings start on page 21, and the introduction there is well worth reading. As well as detailing Ancestry's coverage, the list indicates known errors in Ancestry's labelling, particularly in the browsable 1538-1812 database.

This valuable research tool is available as a free download from the West Surrey FHS website > Publications > Research Aids > RA 49.
