Looking for any information on James Heeps born 1811, Draughton, Northamptonshire.

Married Mary Lilley on April 12, 1830 at Great Billing?

James died in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia on 20 February, 1879.

Children were Eliza - 1832, Lucy - 1834/Draughton, James - 1835/Kettering, and George 1838?

Arrived Adelaide, South Australia - 1847 aboard "The China''.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

the 1841 Census has the family living in Draughton, Northamptonshire but there is no Lucy living with them.

the only Lucy that I can find was born in 1826 and appears to be the daughter of Jeremiah and Mary.

thanks southistle can you tell me where you got info on children as i have looked at igi for the british isles and couldnt find james or george.on the passenger list for the china james snr was mentioned and eliza plus 3 children .i know mary lilley died in england and james came to adelaide i was not aware of mary 17 11 1841 thus found on igi.do you know what happened to her. i was told at age of 15 you were classed as adult being eliza.the 3 children james lucy george, thanks
