Question 1841/1851 Census Look Up Please for Sharpe family

    Hi

I am trying to trace Thomas and Maria/Mary Sharpe and their daughters Mary, Harriet, Anne?, Lucy and Josephine. I have found all the daughters in the 1861 census (living at 22 Broad Street Building, St Botolph) but no mother or father. I believe mother may have died by this time. However I do know that Thomas is still alive and well and teaching at City of London School. If anyone could look them up Thomas in 1841 and Thomas, Maria/Mary and Harriett in 1851 census I would be very grateful. It is possible that they were living at Shepperton Street in Islington as daughter Mary was born there in 1848. Thomas was born in Islington and would be @22 in 1841.

    Many thanks

    Jo

I'm afraid they're not at Shepperton Street in 41 or 51. If you can get to the FRC they have a name index for 1851 on fiche conducted by FH societies. It is not complete, but I'm pretty sure Islington is covered. Maybe somebody else can advise.
