Default South Metropolitan School--Admission/Discharge Registers 1870s-1880s

Does anyone have access to the registers of Admission and/or Discharge for the SOUTH METROPOLITAN SCHOOL in Sutton?

I'm looking for details of when and why two girls-- Sarah Anne RODWAY b. 1868 and Alice Jane RODWAY b. 1875-- were put into care at this school.

Their father John RODWAY died May 28 1878 in Deptford Hospital, and their mother had another child 14 months later, in Lewisham. Was the whole family put into the workhouse? If so, which one?

Girls were in care at the S M School at census 1881. When were they discharged?

Any help much appreciated, as I'm in Canada and can't easily access London area Poor Law records.
