I was curious. I found one of my names listed. No guarantee that it's the same family but it's nice to know the name has been around for a long time.

That's a very useful site. He has quite a lot of information, for example feet of fines, plus very many links. I check his Sources and What's New pages fairly often.

I just checked his What's New page and at the bottom he's asking for help to search links that have gone missing. I can't help but maybe somebody here can.
Although I haven't explored it, he shows the origins of some American families. So, although medieval, I think the site could be useful to our overseas cousins.
