Hello Lolly and welcome to the forum.
By the sounds you don't have any other information to go on. Was he married? If so you can search using a number of sites (some free, some pay as you view) for the year/quarter he was married in and apply for his marriage certificate which will hopefully show his father details.
Have a good browse around the forums and you will be able to pick up information that will assist your search.
Good luckNeil

Nothing about the names sounds particularly Jewish to me, Lolly. Don't get hung up on Reuben - it was a popular biblical name among all sects. Harris could be an anglicised Jewish surname at a pinch, but neither Walters nor Beesley-White leap out at me as being overtly or even 'possibly' Jewish, I'm afraid.
I do have a Walters family of my own, but I doubt they're yours, as they are Cheshire based, just prior to and during your period. What's your evidence for Robert Edward being aka Reuben, by the way? Was he born Robert Edward and called himself Reuben, or was it the other way round?Gail
