Hi Michael.
Or anyone tracing the doctor who tended a sick ancestor, or authorised a hospital or infirmary admission. Even though it is a long shot, there may even be the odd chance that doctors personal papers, such as patient records have survived. Tracing the doc who nursed an ancestor can also be helpful in studying how they would have tended or treated an ill ancestor, and going more in depth to the cause of death on the death certificate.

Lambeth Palace is not the only place to find Doctors records.
Munks roll is another at the Royal College of Physicians there are others for Edinburgh and Aberdeen
