I have a Joshua Brownrigg (Chrt. April 6, 1714 at Bootle & buried at Whitbeck March 4, 1765) in my family who married Eleanor Benn (b. 1712 & Buried Dec. 10 17 93 at Whitbeck) at Bootle, Cumberland, on June 14, 1744. Joshua's father was John Brownrigg (b. abt. 1688 & Buried Feb 8, 1718-19) and his occupation was Husbandman. Joshua aslo had a sister called Agnes (b. at Bootle & Christened March 10, 1716-17)
I'm afraid that I've not been able to get any further back than this as yet on either line.
Can anyone help?
If this is part of your line where do you come in?
All the best,
Ivor

Re Brownrigg
I have passed your query on to Ann Brownrigg and you should hear from her.
Good luck....
