Default Leonardi, Fransisci, Guillelme and Juan Telling

Hi I am researching the Telling family from Wiltshire and am intrigued by some of the names given to members of the family. Leonardi Telling c1570 also Fransisci, Guilleme and Juan. Would anyone know of the history of these family names? Thank you.

    Default Names

Hi Thanks for your answer. I have got the information from someone who has compiled the family tree and I am not sure where they have got it from, but it seems to make sense that it could be the Latin as they do date back quite a long time. Leonardi is 1570 and also there is a Leonard later on in the family tree. Thanks very much I will try and check if there are any more records with these names.

Sorry, I've just posted an answer to this on your other thread, not realising that Finbar had got there first
