1911C complete for England
Sue - great news that England is now complete on the 1911 census site, but like yourself I will be even more pleased when Wales is complete. Any idea when that will be?

Unfortunately Olliepolly, I dont think it will be anytime soon, FMP have the rights until the transcription is completed by them, then they have to allow other companies access to transcribe themselves.

ollie, I found that if I purchased the largest amount of credits and used them wisely, I have been able to make them last quite a while. The quality of the transcripts and the originals are superior to any on A* which I also have a sub for. Instead of searching for individual areas in the London area, just put in London. I have also printed out pages of transcript lists when they are more than a page. I compare these names to what I have on my tree and pick what I need an original for and who can do with just a transcript.
Sadly, our friend Vanessa, passed away 29th. February 2012.

Correction to my own post.
The SoG Newspage says the exclusive licence is for 6 months (not 12). Not quite so long to wait.
