I am searching for a Frank Zebulon Bradfield who immigrated to Canada in 1871 from England. He was 18 when he came over. He settled in Winnipeg married a Jane Donald not too sure of the date they married or where, I am presuming Winnipeg or nearby. I know he is buried in Brookside Cemetery but dont know the year, I am thinking 1901, he died rather young. His wife Jane is also buried in Brookside, but not with him. She died Feb 20, 1931. It doesnt mention any children in her obit, but I did find out there is an infant that is buried with her who died Aug 22, 1912. I know they had a son, Alexander and a daughter, dont know her name. Don't know where to go to find out any more information on this family. Any help is appreciated.

I couldn't find a marriage in Manitoba, so maybe they were married in another province.
You may also wish to write to the Brookside Cemetery (3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3H 1B8, (204) 986-4348) and ask about the gravesite. I found them to be very helpful - and even found someone else had been buried in my great grandparents' plot with them!
And looks like him on the Medway - unfortunately it has no other info:
Frank Bradfield
born: abt 1853 Age: 18
Arrival: 4 May 1871
Ship: Medway
Port of arrival: Quebec, Quebec
Port of Departure: London, England

Oh Jay ty for the information. I do have Alex Bradfield death info from the Free Press. But what I would really be interested in is getting a picture of Frank Bradfield's headstone in Brookside, I'm suprised that this wife Jane wasnt buried with him. I really appreciate your help.
Sandra, I have a lot of information on Bradfields in Derry Hill, but one thing I do not have is Frank Zebulon's parents information. I'd appreciate any information there. Thanks so much.

If you do not mind me asking, how do you know he is buried in Brookside? A look online only shows the following:
Bradfield Alexander
Bradfield Alexander Edward
Bradfield Elizabeth
Bradfield Infant
Bradfield Jane
I will go to the office at Brookside and get them to look as things do get missed.
Would you like Jane's and Alexander's as well? I would most likely have to wait for things to try up before I can go.
Jay
