Default The Lady Magazine 1906-07 Clytie Wheeler

Clytie Wheeler quotes in her diary on the 12th of December 1906 she sends off her nucleolus all about their experiences in Russia, Petersburg her voyage on the ship visiting the art galleries museums etc to ‘The Lady ’ (I presume it is the Lady Magazine as we know it today). She submitted her piece (so she quotes in her dairies) in December 1906 she was paid for the article in January 07.

I have written to The Lady magazine sadly they do not have an archives department. Does anyone happen to know of anyone who may have a collection old collection of The Lady Magazines of these dates or how to find this article? Her name then was Wheeler this was before she was married and became Weaver. Many thanks Kind regards Joanna

Try the Colindale Library, part of the British Library. They have an integrated newspaper catalogue - The British Library has a a facility to copy documents.

Colindale Library holds copies of The Lady
