Quebec phone book check please????

Thanks to some very kind people on here, I have managed to identify a couple of my grandad's siblings who emigrated to Canada in the 1950's. Although these siblings have since passed away, I would love to contact my dad's 2 remaining cousins. I know that one was still living in Quebeck at the same address from 1995, to 2002.

Does anyone have access to a current Quebeck phone book to check if this person is still alive/resident at the same address? I would like to send a letter to this person to let him know who I am, and hopefully he may know what has happened to my dad's other cousin ( she may have married and therfore have changed her name!)

Thanks. I checked both, and unfortunately he has either moved and gone ex-directory or died. The phone number from 2002 is still linked to the same address, however a different name is now listed!

As the surname Curnick is so unusual in Canada, the only one that is coming up is my grandad's brother who died in 2004. Even my dad's cousin's 2 children are not coming up!

If you want to find out if and where they're buried, you could always check the Mount Royal Cemetery website. Most Québécois would be buried either there, Hawthorne-Dale (which is owned by Mount Royal) or Notre Dame-Des-Neiges.

These cemeteries have searchable burial indexes. See above links.

Are you looking for them in Québec City or in Montréal? or somewhere else in the province?

Aislin's suggestion on the cemeteries are both for Montréal so I am assuming they were there?

If you pm me the names and last known addresses, I can try and look in the directories for you next time I am at the archives. (estimated ages would help, too)
