    Default prc wills

    Hi

I have a number of a will for a Paul Andrews he died 7th Oct 1825 in Ashford Kent the number is PRC17 and then after it 107/222 I got this info on the kent archaeology site, I am not really sure what this means or where I might look to find this will any suggestions would be welcome.

I think this refers to a register of wills at the Canterbury Cathedral Archives. This looks as if it relates to the Archdeaconry Court but there doesn't seem to be much logical distinction between that and the Consistory Court. The document will make it clear!

I would advise you to contact Canterbury Cathedral Archives to get a copy of the will

This is another chance to remind others that the PCC wills online at the National Archives are not the only place to check for pre-1858 wills
