Hi
Could anyone tell me if a woman's death certificate in 1884 would give her maiden name?
Thanks
Kaff

Hi Kaff,
Not if it was a certificate from England or Wales. Have a read of Barbara Dixon's certificate website.

It will say "wife of..." or "widow of..." which may lead you to the information you want.
