hi Kim
No I have marriage, March1/4 1885 and death of Henrietta September 1/4 1890 at age 23 but no more. I presume 1/4 = quarter? I wonder if any children or she died in childbirth?

What you have is an entry from the General Register Office Index - the actual certificate will contain more information, which you need in order to further your research. A copy of the certificate can be ordered using the reference that you have, from the GRO
Why is the actual certificate imprtant?
Is should contain the names of bride and groom, together with age, marital condition, occupation, residence - togehter with their fathers' names and occupations; and names of witnesses (who may be related).
The age at marriage should roughly tie up with age at death. With the name of the father you stand a good chance of identifying her in earlier census returns and then locating th registrtion of her birth and/or her baptism.
If you want to find cause of death, you will need to order her death certificate.
Can you locate her widowed husband with any children in the 1891 census? (Though of course any additional children may have died at the same time as your lass).
