Default sowery troy / lough HELP !!!!!

hi i do hope someone can help me with the following i have hit a dead end if not i do hope someone can point me in the right direction

    Hi

I am hoping someone will be able to help me, I am researching my family tree and I am trying to unravel a mystery
My gran a BERTHA SOWERY born in 1898 then ended up a BERTHA SOWERY TROY due to her mother from what I can gather not marrying the father

She then somewhere along the line got married and became a BERTHA LOUTH
She then got married again in 1927 and then she became a BERTHA BAGLEY

The info I am trying to find out is when did she become a BERTHA LOUTH
She I think ended up in Australia I remember when she died finding letters in her house saying that her husband LOUTH was a deserter of the Australian army and was presumed dead I then know she ended back up in England where she married my granddad in 1927

The mystery in when did she become a LOUTH and also who was her 1st husband that was in the Australian Army

I do hope someone can help me

    Thank

    Ann

This doesn't help with your query but did you see them on the 1901 census?

    Hi Ann,
the 1901 census shows Bertha and her family, her mother Mary Emma Sowery was a servant for William Troy and his girls. I have sent you the census.

Your Bertha could have met 1st husband Louth in England, most Australian soldeirs who served in Europe during WWI went via the UK, so they could have met and married there. So I would check marriage indexes in england during the war for Bertha and Louth.

The Australian Nominal Roll of Honour for WWI (at http://www.awm.gov.au/database/nroll.asp) does not record any soldier by the name of LOUTH. There are however a small number of LOUGH.
