Unfamiliar territory, so navigation is a little uncertain, but found two difficulties in sending messages.

On first attempt, clicking on Preview Post button before submitting message resulted in apparent loss of message.

(Later attempt failed due to ISP chopping connection)

Rewritten message needed editing (after I'd sent it) but the Edit facility seemed to add further blocks to the message rather than deleting them.

Looked at FAQs but did not see the reason for this, and it is probably a case of RTFM (but where?)

You found what I think is a bug in the message editor.
It appears that on long messages, and especially those with a lot of embedded links, that the editor "repeats" blocks of the message, and editing them after previewing seems to make them worse.

Therefore, for the moment, don't make messages too long. I am in the process of trying to sort it out with the manufacturers of the software.

    Regards
    Rod

I think it may also be caused by invisible debris in the message, which may result from backtracking to correct spelling or wording before sending the message. i.e backspace or line break characters. Regards Frank W
