I have been tracing my families history for the past 12 months and it has become more of an addiction rather than a hobby. There have been many twists and turns, frustrations and joys unraveling all the myths and family stories, some true, some not so.

"There's nowt so queer as folk" is an expression that is used over here and, in delving into our families' pasts, it becomes more and more apparent that they lived very interesting (to us) lives.
