The first competition of 2009!!!!
Hello Forum members,
We have a wonderful prize to give away - a book that has been donated by the Family History Partnership called, "Hw 2 *t ur Fmly Hstry"
This quirky, surprisingly comprehensive, cheerfully presented guide will whet the appetite of children from 7 to 70 to discover their forebears, who they were and how they lived.
All you have to do is find the answers to the 20 questions below. All of the answers are to be found on Parish Chest, the sponsors of Brit-Gen. Click on the Parish Chest symbol in the red bar at the top of the page and you are there.
Please PM me your entries to arrive by Midnight (GMT) on Sunday 25th January, when the competition will end. I will announce the winner (and the answers) on Monday 26th.
Also, there will be bonus marks awarded if you provide the correct product code for any of the answers that you give.
Good luck everybody!

And I can guarantee to anyone who hasn't entered one on here before it's great fun - oh, and don't forget to grab a notebook cos you never know where it might lead you!

And here's another one excitedly clapping her hands together like a seal.

I've got a head *t 'cos I know where Cherry Hinton is, though as it took me ages to work out what ' *t ' meant
, I suspect that by question 4 I'll probably be going
I totally agree with Browneyes
and provided you leave your list of 'I want' in many prominent places, you can say goodbye to opening bedsocks and bathsalts on Christmas morning.
Some of the old books now published on CD are fascinating reads.
If you're a very new forum member please note that you have an equal chance of winning with someone who's been a forum member since 1909, as this competition is not based on how much you know about genealogy.
Happy hunting everyone.

So, I go to bed and when I get up this morning, there is the first entry sitting in my mailbox. Snuck in whilst I was snoozing!
Okay, the rest of you - get those entries flooding in - I can take it!
