My Daughter was married in Princess Royal Barracks in Gutersloh in 2003.She has now seperated and needs a copy of her marriage certificate as she can not find the 1st one.Has anyone any clues how to go about this.She was with 2 cs.She is now out of the Army.Can she order one from here or does she have to contact her old Regiment and sort it with them...........Colin

The marriage certificate given at the time of marriage is not actually a legal document (not here in Australia anyway) but it would have been handy for registration number and place of registration to get a copy of a certified registration document.
The Army should have a copy of the basic certificate in your daughter's service records. She should contact the Births, Deaths and Marriages people directly, no-one else can do this for her because of privacy issues. I would imagine that the event was registered in the UK unless she married outside of the army.ChristineR
