John Elliott and Emily Bryant

I am trying to locate the marriage details of my Great grandfathers James Elliott's parents John Elliott ( farm labourer ) and Emily Bryant.

James was born 12/07/1881 in Coleshill Buckinghamshire, sub district Amersham and I have located the family on the 1891 census at Causeway Cottages Rickmansworth Hertfordshire John 38, Emily 37, George 17, Annie 18, James 11 and Emily 9.

However the marriage - for me - is proving to be difficult to find.

Can anyone help?

Do you have the 1881 census details? It would appear that your James was 10 mths old in that census, so shouldn't he have been born 1880, not 1881.

Yes, James was born in 1880, have checked his birth cert - my typing Is not the best unfortunately !!!
