Have been researching family for along while.and would very much like to find Ellen death and both burial places.
also interested in any descendants of the above, Mary was my gt, grandmother
also if John was buried in Arley would anybody know the names of the cemetries please
thanks rojean

Smith is such a common name, there are trillions
You think Ellen died before John in 1923 but what was the year of birth for her last child? This will narrow down the search, just a little
Do you have any marriage certificates for her children that she may have been a witness on? Anything at all that would help to establish her last known date alive? Local newspapers can sometimes help. Did she attend, help with or was involved in anything that could have been recorded?
Is she on the 1901 census, could she have been involved in WW1?
Do you have birth information, the age at death is recorded on the indexes for deaths registered after 1866.
Anything at all you can think of that will help shorten the odds of the hundreds of deaths in Warwickshire for Ellen would be useful.

Hi, yes she is on the 1901 census at gorse barn cottage in attlebourgh together with her husband john and chlidren.
My cousin in England has just found and got John death cert, with daughter Mary M E Flowers name as witness. 1923. Mary 1st marriage was to george Garner, then she married herbert flowers 1911 at nuneaton and had 2/3 children.to herbert.
Ellen was born Ellen Edden 1851 at Eydon, northants.
the date of John and Ellen last child born was 1891 at Whitchurch.
thanks
