I wonder if SKS would do a lookup for me?

I have a Thomas ANDREWS, born about 1820 (according the 1881 Canadain census) in "Jersey City". For the longest time, I thought it meant the one in the US. But I am now wondering if he was actually born in JERSEY, CHANNEL ISLANDS!! He apparently was established in Québec City by 1841 as a tinsmith or whitesmith, and he married and died there.

I would be grateful if someone could do a lookup and see if there is a possible Thomas born in Jersey around this time.
