    Default where is she buried?

    hi all, i have an emily/emma harrison b1900 and d1943 her death register says uxbridge but i can not find where she is buried i have phoned hillingdon but she isn't there does anyone know where i should start looking?

    any help and advice would be great thanks

    By that, do you mean the GRO index? If so, you need to get the death certificate.

    What was her usual address? Where was her next of kin? People tend be buried near where they used to live or where their family lived rather than where they died.

    I don't know exactly what Uxbridge RD covered in 1943 but it might be worth trying Harrow, Ealing and Hounslow. But I think the more fundamental questions need to be addressed first.

    she lived on a canal boat and she was registered in uxbridge
