Hi all, My Grandfather WATSON ALLISON joined the NER in 1905 as a Lamp Boy at Seaham Harbour Station Co Durham. When he retired in 1952 he was a Guard working from Sunderland . Can anyone tell me how to find details of his career. Thank you

my GREAT GREAT GREAT Grandfather was william raine station manager at gateshead durham co, england bout around 1861 era and what you know i see an allison in my family tree........could there be a connection.......i believe the allison in my tree was round 1890- 1900.........
