Hello, i am new to this forum,my main family names i am tracing are: LAND,FARLEY,ELWIN. from Norfolk area mainly.
been doing family research for about 5 years now, but have hit some brick walls, problem being i am not able to travel to Norfolk or London so rely quite alot on the computer and software.
would be interested if anyone else has any links to these names.

Not being able to travel to the various places from which our ancestors came should not be a problem with the superb help that is available from the members of Brit-Gen. Have a look at the various sections of the Norfolk forum and post your questions. I am sure that you will soon be receiving some help.

Hi Sheila, I too have problems getting over to London, thank goodness for the helpful folks on this Forum, distance shrinks. (Even tho' I still have to ask "Mr Google" where in the 'UK' ? are certain places.

I was playing around in 'Durham' this morning, that was fun, made more so on censuses when people moved around or if a mis-spelling occurs.

You'll get your 'giggles' here too, great for when you think that brickwall is getting higher.
