Found this Memorial Inscriptions for Illogan, Cornwall if it's any help:

Mabel COUCH at Hayle 18/4/1926 aged 36 her husband Nichollas 8/12/1954 aged 64 he is interred at Hayle.

Hello,

My ggggrandfather was Charles COUCH a shoemaker born in Bristol, Somerset about 1797 according to the 1841 England Census. Listed with him is his wife Susanna b abt 1794 in Bristol, Eliza b abt 1825 (my gggrandmother), Edward b abt 1827, Daniel b abt 1829, Ann b abt 1831, and George b abt 1834. They were in Camden Town, Saint Pancras, Middlesex for the 1841 census.

I have found Charles and Susanna in the '41 and '51 census, Eliza through the '61 to '91 census. I have found some other bits and pieces as well. Does this fit into your research at all?

I too am researching COUCH surname. ELIZA b.1808. Do you have any info on her. Father JOHN, mother Margery Paul. Eliza camt to Aust. c. 1852. Cannot find her entry into Oz. She married William WELLS in Melb. c 1852 who was a convict. She was 45 when she married. They were childless. She died. In Vic. 1882. Where are you Malcolm. ?? Look forward to hearing from you.
