Question EDITH EMILY DAVIES - Rhondda

I have been searching for my grandmother's early records for quite a number of years. I know she was born in 1887, possibly in the Rhondda Valleys. She moved to London at some point and married my grandfather -George Henry Cox - between 1909 and 1913 had three children all born in Islington. I know the remaining later family details from my father Frank Richard Cox. I met, as a child, what I thought was her sister 'Aunt Het' - Edith Rose Pring nee Cox. She lived until her death at 85 Pwllygarth Street, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend. At the time of her son Albert's birth she lived at 79 Pwllygarth Street.
In total my grandmother gave birth to 6 children, Alice Maud, William Henry, Frank Richard, Barbara, Amy and Ronald. She died in May1939 in Saddleworth, West Riding of Yorkshire.
If anyone can fill in any deatils at all it would be wonderful.

    Default Edith Emily DAVIES

Is she likely to have stopped off at Bristol on the way?? There is a marriage registration on FreeBMD in the June qtr 1904 at Bristol reg district, vol 6a, page 379 of an Edith Emily DAVIS and a corresponding entry for a George Henry COX - worth considering???

    Thumbs up Edith Emily Davies

Thank you for such a prompt find. Yes definitely worth consideration. I'll search it further. I hadn't really thought about a stopover along the M4 corridor. Although my great great grandfather Cox moved from Wool, Dorset to Saddleworth with all his family so it's a possibility.
    Thanks again
