I'm a Canadian who has been researching my family tree for over three years now. My father came over to Canada in the early 1950s, where he met my mother, married and raised a family. Unfortunitely, my father passed away in 1975 and when I started my family research all I had to go on was my father's birth date and that he was born in London somewhere.
Well, to make a long story short, in the past three years, I've been able to build my tree back to the early 1800s where I've hit the perverbial brick wall!! I've done all my research via the internet and been pretty successful. I've even reconnected with living relatives in the UK.I am going to post a new thread in the Brickwall forum in hopes that you folks might be able to help me get past it.
In any case, I just wanted to say hi. Hope to get to know you bunch over the next little while.
Cheers,
Bigguy
