Surnames Allen and Hunt

Hi,

I recently spent a really good week in Birmingham. On the first morning I walked a short distance to Commercial Street ( where the CUBE is being built. which is where my x2 gr grandfather William Allen ( 1817-1871( and then his son William Henry Allen) had an iron foundry. it was variously named Nash and Allen, Stone and Allen and later just William Allen's Iron Foundry .

I would be grateful for any further information about this factory or indeed the family.

I would also be interested in any further information about William/Walter Hunt, a chemist and family who lived at Trinity Street.
