Trying to find Information on my Great Grand parents William Peacock who Married Elizabeth Sumner . they had five children, George, Charles, Adelaide and Sumner any help would be greatly appreciated All I Know is that Charles the second Born was Born in Jarrow on the 30th of July 1883

My grandmother was born Margaret SUMNER in Preston Lancashire, her parents were Richard and Margaret Sumner. She married my grandfather, a 20 year old batchelor George Frankcom in Birmingham after her parents had relocated to that fair city, I am not biased, even though I was born there !

Hi Peter My Great Grandmothers Full Name Is Laura Elizabeth Sumner Born 1855 in Birkenhead Cheshire so not sure if you are a relation or not. Kind regards Hilary

Hi Nicolina have since discovered my Grandfathers name was Cuthbert William PeacockI think Charles was a Nickname his Siblings were Sumner,Adeline,Wynfreda Harold and Emma
Charles had a wife in England and a Daughter Do not know his Wifes name but he had a Daughter Named Muriel. His wife reportedly Died on 24 June 1907 but I have so fare been unable to trace anything about her or her Daughter Muriel.
Thank you for your interest as there is an Annie Peacock somewhere in the Family and it may well be the one you have found so I will follow through with this

Hi Hilary, I've just checked the 1911 Census and there is only one Cuthbert Peacock but none of the family names match yours and this Cuthbert was born in 1894. Of course he could have been enumerated as William which meas he wouldn't be so easy to find.

unfortunately there were bother PEACOCK - OLIVER & PEACOCK - TAIT marriages going by children's births BUT I tend to think that your Cuthbert married Alice OLIVER.
