Hi everyone!
Just wanted to pop my head in and say hello! My family tree started as a half assed school project as a 10year old, and a few years later i got into the swing of things. A few years later, and at 26yrs old, i'm still here!
as frustrating as it may get at times, it's very rewarding, and something i can hopefully pass onto my children (whenever i may have them).
belinda.

Go for it Belinda, I'ts addictive, frustrating, Maddening, Heartwarming, & rewarding & probably a few other "........ings" as well, but oh, so worth it. You may give vent herein & possibly crumble a few walls doing so. I remember dragging (taking) my children to State Library in early days when we were all 'blind' to what we were doing. Now my Dtr is addicted & the boys just know "it's MUMs thing".
you'll find real support here.
Enjoy!!

my dad was quite a factor in encouraging me to look through the family tree. so i'll blame him for all this :P

Welcome Belinda. I am in the UK, but a lot of my ancestors left here many years ago and settled in Geelong.
