Hi its my first time on this site ,anyone who will help me save my sanity.|

i have spent arond 50 hours trying to find info about the father of phoebe williams born 1-8-1841 at llanafan fawr merthyr cynog breconshire, her mothers name was margaret of the same area .
the person who gave the info on her birth certificate was rees williams but no fathers name, i think she had phoebe before she married.

she was staying with her uncle william williams esquire in 1861 at 33 glangwessin llandewi abergwessin ,his wife was elizabeth, i believe rees was williams brother.

when phoebe married 13-4-1861 atthe church in llanafan fawr she and her husband jonathan parry williams lived at 8 sychnant ,same area,but according to tales handed down she was disinherited for marrying against her fathers wishes.

would love to hear from anyone in that area with any info however small.

I have a John Williams in my tree born in Llannelly, Brecknockshire, Wales, UK in 1787 his father was William Williams b 1747

sorry tiggerbrat, my william was born in breconshire in1815.

good luck with your search,i cant seem to overcome a brick wall with my request as you are my only responce.
