I have a John Calvert who is down on the 1891 census as a Wesleyan Evangelist. I know from several obits I have that he was at the Wiltshire Mission, Oswestry although I think it may have been renamed the Severn Valley Wesleyan mission. He later on went to Lerwick in the Shetland Islands where he married. He went off to Nebraska after this. Can anyone give me any clues as to where I can find more out about this mission?
Thankyou
Francis Calvert.

Oswestry Wiltshire Mission
Hi Pipsqueak,
I am interested in finding all I can about the Rev John. His time in Nebraska is fascinating and would love to know more. With regard to this posting. I know nothing of his time at this mission and I would like to find out as much as I can so that i can write it up in a book eventually. If you know of any way that you can help me I would be most grateful. Thank you for replying to both of my postings.
Thanks once again
Francis.
