    Default W*GG* One Name Study

I have been conducting a One Name Study for WAGG, WEGG, WIGG & WIGGS since 1996 (not GOONS registered).

My WEGG family line originated in Norfolk, and I have found the name interchangeable with WAGG. Expanding my research, there are also mistranscriptions of WIGG. So my databases include all 4 spelling variations.

I have a website which includes a wide variety of data & family trees.

If your family originated in the UK I can probably help.

    Hello Vivian,
Just found your page by accident as I am trying to find out about the grandmother of my daughters. Her name was Ethel Wigg and know that she had a sister Edie. They hailed from Kent, then came to Canada. I believe her mother died and the woman that she came to Canada with was a stepmother (and her father)Ehel and Edie were born around ? 1910, as far as I can remember.I know it isn't much to go on but I might get a break with what I have. mykin
