    Default Catalogue NO?

    Does anyone know the WO number for searching for WW2 service records at National archives online? The problem I have is my ancestor is called DAY so whenever I search you can imagine it throws up a lot of files.

    All Second war service records are closed until 2020

    However, if you are the next of kin, you can still apply to the MOD for details as instructed here.

    Thanks for the reminder Jan. That blows my next step now I will have to try something else for my search for a marriage as it is not recorded on GRO
