    Default Argentina Whittalls

I had relatives who moved to Argentina in the late 1880s to 1900s all called Whittall, is there any way I can trace them

    Default Argentina Whittalls

A very quick look on "FamilySearch" found 3 Stephen Henry Whittalls between late 1700s & 1900s.

Graeme Wall knows something about Argentinian research. He may be able advise you.

Note that he has a link to Jeremy Howat's site that might interest you

Family Search is a website that has been created by the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. It houses the International Genealogical Index (IGI) that you will also see referred to on Brit-Gen.

They have microfilmed many parish records and also have records submitted by people who have researched their tree.

Click on the link above and have a good look round. It is fully searchable.

Ian, do please take care not to mention in your posts the christian names of any person who may be alive. A personal message or email can be sent if you have any such information.
    Happy hunting.

The 1869/1895 Argentina Census are also now online at Family Search Record Pilot, as well as lots of Church Records. Good luck.
