hello everyone
iam searching the death of Charles Tarling. he died between 1909 and 1918.and i beleave he was born 1872.i found one but that was 1910 age 40.but iam just wondering if he died in the great war.any help would be great.many thanks lee

To look for those who died in WW1 - try the CWGC
The GRO index available on many pay-per-view sites records all those who died in England and Wales - try freebmd first.
The 'Soldiers died in WW1 database' available on findmypast (pay-per-view) can be worth checking for those in the army.
You might also try the probate calendar (index to wills) which is easy to use and can be found on microfilm at many county record offices/locals studies centres.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Charles Tarling was born in Epping or West Ham area London. If there is any one with any information out there, I would be very gratefull.
