    Question charting your family history

I started by getting info off my Dad and first started researching my Grandad and Grandma's families. I was only getting details on the main links through the family and dob's. Now I am learning more and more about what they all did and when they did it. Now also who their children married and their children. Even in some cases their childrens children.

What Im wanting to know is does anybody Know how to go about setting it all out neatly instead of my now wrather messy rough copy that is fast running out of space? Its how to leave enough space between things for later additions that is the big problem.

Id really like to do a smart copy that I could frame.

I would recommend using a computer program such as Brother's Keeper to create and organise your family tree before thinking of compiling a chart.
Computer programs may also be used to produce charts but I prefer the manual approach when enough data has been compiled.
