    Default Hawkshead/James Ancestor

    Hello Everybody, I'm hoping someone can help with a brickwall I'm struggling with. My gtgtgt grandfather Edward James b. Hawkshead in, I'm guessing, abt 1800 was married to a Mary, it's Mary's surname I'm trying to find. I've found their son Francis James (gtgt g,father) b.Hawkshead 1825 m.Jane Wright at St Luke's Liverpool in 1846, they went on to have my gt g,mother Jane Elizabeth b.1851 m. Denis Scully 1880 All Saints Liverpool who then had my g,father William Scully. I would dearly like to know Edward's wife Mary's maiden name if anyone has access to records regarding Hawkshead.

    Hi,
    There's a marriage between Edward James and Mary Brown 14/10/1824 in Kirkbampton, Cumberland that might be worth checking out.
