can any one advise me or do a look up for me for a maiden name for a Charlotte who was born in Ingrave Essex 1809.
she married Robert Warman born 1808, could also do with a marriage date if possible.

    Hi Ann,
I presume you got your info re Ann's age and birthplace from the 1851 census, in which case you see that Robert also says he was born in Ingrave. Chances are therefore that they married in Ingrave. Hopefully Essex Record Office have the PRs for Ingrave, so a visit to them should provide the answer.
At the moment I can't get any links (even to paying council tax!) from the main Essex County Council page so you'll have to resort to the old phone book to find out the address in Chelmsford. They used to have other 'outposts' but I believe the one in Colchester has now closed, but Chelmsford will be able to advise you further.
You could get the birth certificate for Thomas or Samuel - a possible entry for Thomas is on FreeBMD but nothing yet for Samuel - but you'll be much better off using the seven quid that would cost as travelling costs to the Record Office.
    Pam

P.S. (12 minutes later!) If anyone is searching for R&C in other census, in 1861 A....y have them indexed as Robert and Charlottle Worman, and in 1871 the enumerator has made them 10 years younger than he should have. Still living in Ingrave.
