Hi I have been searching into my family for just under a year. My main interest is in the Rudman family. I have gone back as far as jonathan Rudman born in 1700,s. He is my g g g grandfather. His son was George born 1811. he was married to a Margaret Davies. he was a mason, they later ran a pub called the Masons Arms in Bristol as did their son George who was a Carver and Guilder by trade. He married a Jane Taylor and their son Alfred was my grandfather. origanal area Bath then Bristol then Shoreditch. This is the basic info. But have now came to a brick wall. The search is made harder by the fact I live in France so it is difficult to visit records offices etc but I suppose everybody has that problem if they live in one part of the country and their family came from another part. Anybody got any advice as new to this. Many thanks
