    Default Diego James Finlayson of Dunbar

    I am looking for the descendants of Diego James Finlayson born around 1740's to 1750's. His son married a Miss Mary Smith of London in 1837.

    Hi there
    As you've posted to the Dunbartonshire Forum, I wonder whether Diego James Finlayson was "of Dumbarton" rather than "of Dunbar"?
    Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire is on the west coast; Dunbar, East Lothian is on the east coast - nearly 100 miles away.
