Card family in Somerset

Hi,
I am in Australia hoping someone could please help me out with an enquiry. My Grt Grt Grt Grandfather Abraham Card (F: Willam Card, M: Mary Evans/Card/Dove) was born in "Rodney Stoke" Somersetshire in 1825. He travelled to Australia aboard the 'Petrel' in 1849 where he married an Eliza Baldock and had a son Abraham Henry Card.I was hoping if anyone had any information whatsoever on any of the mentioned people here. It would be most appreciated.

There's an 1841 census entry which shows several CARDs in Rodney Stoke.

They appear on HO107/868/4 f5 p4
Edward CARD 20 and James 15, both ag.labs in one household

The next entry has what may be Abraham's widowed mother?
Mary CARD 45 widow ag.lab and William 25 shoe.m. (shoemaker), Alfred 20 ag.lab, Martha, 10 John 8.

Then next entry but one
George 55 ag.lab, and George 20

all the above born in county.

Betty CARD, 65 is shown on f3 p1

There is a record of a burial for a William CARD, aged 59 at Rodney Stoke on 7th Jan 1841.

Did you find what you were loooking for? There are Card family still living in Rodney Stoke area and alot of information about them all and especially the Evans family. Also the Draycott Spencer family - google them.
