Alexander McKENZIE and Mary Ann CORSAN were my great great grandparents!
Bob, are you by any chance Robert of Robert and Dayle in Dunedin with whom I was in snail mail correspondence in 1991? If so, I wrote to you a while back with fresh discoveries but the letter was returned.
Alexander and Mary Ann were married on 13 July 1835 in St.George's in the East
I finally found Alexander in the 1851 (in Bray, Berkshire)
HO107/1649 f.160 p.9
Also 1861 RG9/4470 f.92 on board the 'Washingtin Irving'
Have now traced him to Aberdeen, where he was baptised 1 July 1807.
I have sent you an e-mail so we can compare notes!
